The Sony Walkman NWZ-A816 is an extraordinary hand held device that allows you to play your favorite songs, watch your favorite videos and look at your pictures in High Quality.
Sony has never let me down, they are the first on my list when it comes to buying products.
This hand held device is a must for all those who have been waiting for a great video mp3 player. It's simple to use, and provides great quality. This is better than an Ipod.
As soon as I took this product out of the box I was uploading music in 5 minutes, that's how easy it is! The product comes with instructions and precautions (but it's really simple to find out how to use the device if you have had past experience with electronics.) There are numerous menus you can go to including, "Pictures, Videos, Playlists, Settings, Search and of course your Music."
The quality of the music and video is outstanding, especially if you have high definition video and music at around 320 kbs. There is an equalizer which allows you to customize your music if you want to listen to, "Heavy" music or "Classical" music. To make things better, the battery will last you about 33 hours before you have to recharge and 8 hours if you're watching a video. Imagine all that you can put on 4 GB of Flash Memory.
I have also been able to put my music onto the Sony WalkmanNWZ-A816 from a Windows 2000 Professional Laptop with Service Pack 4. It treats is like a Jumpdrive and you just take your music from your hard drive and copy paste. Remember not to unplug the USB Wire at any time when uploading. This could lead to corrupt data, and that's never good, is it?
One thing I didn't really like about the Sony Walkman was that it looked as it could break pretty easily. The screen would rupture if you gave it a good drop. If you protect it well and put it in special covering, this won't be a problem. After all, every product out there could break if not cared for, right?
The product has a nice slim design. The buttons are easily press- able and will not break if used like they should be. The controls are easy to operate and if the screen gets dirty you just get a dry cloth and wipe the screen.
The headphones are the best free ones you can get in my honest opinion. They don't even compare to the Ipod I-phones. It's like comparing a used car and a new car. They block out the outside sound and give you high definition sound quality.
The only thing I found missing was games to play. I think they could have at least added one game to entertain you when you were listening to music, like the Apple Ipod.
If you're still one of those who has a CD Player and is looking for something cool and has good quality you need to buy the Sony Walkman. You've already read my review (I hope ;P), so what are you waiting for? Go and buy it now!
