In terms of providing power for your system, you should think of the amp as absolute ground zero. The amp carries the audio signal from the receiver to the speakers. The more powerful is your amp, the cleaner is the transmission. And you can consider a clean transmission an open invitation to crank the volume without fear of distortion. With equalization you can take charge of critical subwoofer settings. Basically, this just means you can fine-tune your system's output to account for stuff - like your ride's windows and interior design - that affects sound quality.
Advantages: Good, cheap, simple. Disadvantages: Can get lost or stolen.
...The reason I am writing this review, is that I recently had a problem with my good old TomTom, and thought that perhaps it may have to go to the electronic graveyard in the sky (but how would it find it's way there?) Advantages: pretty much does everything it says on the tin plus a bit more. Disadvantages: only downside is lack of dual digital tuners
...i was 22 recently and was bought this as a birthday pressie (love you mwah!). It cost £257.94 from 247electrical.co.uk. we had the previous model (RDRHXD860S) but just as alot of other reviews say ours broke down too.
This machine seems to be far superior to the previous model and is far more intuitive to use. In operation it runs almost silently and performs at a much high speed (the 860s had a noisy fan and always had a slight delay before responding to each command).
All recording has been performed faultlessly and the ability to jump advert breaks at the touch of a single button is great. The 250GB hard disk is very rapid in it's operation and provides huge storage potential.
This recorder from Sony employs Bravia Theatre and Theatre Sync technology to give you high definition images via 1080p upscaling on all your DVDs...
