Sony XM-SD 22 X

Advantages: Price, build and sound quality, finish
Disadvantages: 2 channels may not be enough

...When I bought my VW Bora about a year and a half ago now I wasn't overly impressed with the amount of base and sound quality I could get from the stereo. So the idea was to look for a well priced amplifier that wasn't to complicated but would provide the low end base that I was looking for without blowing out the back window in the process. Don't get me wrong here, I am not one of those people who drives about with their windows down pumping out rubbish to all who care (not many). Anyways, I made a trip up to Halfords for one of those serial buying events that my wife hates. Advantages: Accurate Colours, Deep Blacks, Great HD picture
Disadvantages: Below-par video processing, expensive

...This television, for me, offers essentially everything - but at a price. Aesthetics wise, it is excellent, the glass surround adding an extra element of design often missing in new televisions. There are plenty of connections available for use on the X3000/X3500, including HDMIx3 and Componentx3, and a USB slot. Generally, I feel the Television offers very good image quality via SD Freeview, Sky or Virgin Media. During fast action scenes such as sports, the video processing of the Bravia Engine Pro lets the set down a bit - occasionally pixelated areas appear. This can be improved by activating the 'MotionFlow 100Hz' feature available, but it cannot be truely eliminated. However, HD is, as is most sets, where the Sony shines. The picture quality on Blu-Ray discs and the PlayStation 3 is excellent, with little to no motion blurring... Read review

Advantages: Excellent battery life, simple to connect, works with multiple devices, good folding mechanism
Disadvantages: Not for extended use, audio delay, the headband can pull out hairs!
