Advantages: good md player - now quite cheep Disadvantages: not the smallest
I had this ages and had no problems, i think its great and that MD is the way forward. i used to use cassetes but now i have made the switch i don't know how i lived without it before. i bought the mz-e25 when it was the best available but things have improved. its now quite cheep and if u want a starter machine get this. does have the problem of no recorder but i would recommend getting a seperate for your stereo. my mates have bought portable recorders/player and made the switch to seperates. ...

Advantages: Clean, nice colour scheme Disadvantages: No breakfast, not as cheap as some
guilders at the w/e, 25 during the week and you don't get breakfast with that. You have to be out of the place between 12 and 5 while they clean, and there is a curfew which it costs 5 guilders to break. That's 5 between you so if there are a few of you it's nothing. And at the week end you have to book for two nightss together. ...
Advantages: Great location, staff and price Disadvantages: It's very basic

A quick glance at their website - www.paris-hostel.biz - tells me that they also offer self contained appartments in adjoining buildings for E35 per person per night. I've never stayed in one of these, but by the looks of things, they are well euipped and have the benefits of the hotel.

The hotel has a 24 hour English-speaking manned reception (the people who man it speak English - not the reception itself!), a lounge, TV room, communal kitchen.

Prices are per person, per night (including taxes) and range from E25 to E50 depending on the facilities and occupancy you choose. For that price, you get breakfast, a map of the city, towels, a safety deposit box (located at reception) and English newspapers.
