Sound Asleep Pillow

“There is only one thing people like that is good for them; a good night's sleep” Edgar Watson Howe I’ve never had any real sleep problems (touchwood), but I do find some noises can interfer with the whole process of getting to sleep - excessive traffic or loud snoring being the worst offenders. I recently noticed a Sound Asleep pillow in a local curtain and bedding store but did not quite realise what it actually was. As I have spondylosis in my neck I am always on the look out for good pillows and that this was called'Sound Asleep' as it was so good.. However this one was not what I would call a good pillow; in other words one which will aid restful sleep due to its' material etc. For one thing it felt very soft, just the sort of pillow Hubby likes, and it looked as if the support it would offer would not be appropriate for me. I work late at nights sometimes and can find it hard to drop off. My other half is sometimes asleep when I get back and I like to listen to music as it helps me to relax and get a good night's rest. She bought me a Sound Asleep pillow from an online store and it cost £15. This pillow looks just like any other ordinary pillow - same size and same shape etc. However, there is a big difference - this pillow will play you any sort of music you like as you drift off to sleep and it's great. RRP - £15 - 20 ish I bought this off Amazon hoping it would help drift me off to sleep and cure me of my insomnia, I was disappointed. After just one night's use I found it only useful as a pillow... which is not particularly useful considering I spent roughly £17 on it. Here I will list the problems 1) You CAN hear it even if you're not the user - don't believe the advertising, I had the volume as low as i possibly could whilst still being audible and it still kept my girlfriend up 2) You CAN feel the speaker - Although only slightly, it's enough to cause discomfort.
