Great quality if a little outdated.
Advantages: 8 mono channels, balanced inputs and outputs. Disadvantages: Need to install PCI card.
...it a worthy buy.
M-Audio has a pedigree that any pro-audio manufacturer should be proud of, and the Delta 44 is no exception, it has low operating latency at around 10ms, and 4 ins and outs on large 3.5" jacks (perfect for a recording studio). they are also balanced which means you can use in conjuction with balanced cables in your studio (perfect for keeping the excess noise down).
M-audio's support has always been top-notch too, with them at ... ...they were to be released to public (and they sorted the problem!).
All in all a great product but with todays portable market and plethora of sound cards on the market, not one that would be the top of anyones list, unless it was a real 2nd hand bargain. ...

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
Advantages: Voters stunning Disadvantages: none
...distance only with possession of Creative Media, despite the obvious and boring, and I do not see how Winamp, comfort, but overall is too large to be.
During the installation of software drivers for the sound card, I asked to participate in the tender for one of three modes, games, entertainment, and audio creation. I choose this game because I often play many games. After the self-satisfied with the remote, I decided to play with the creation of ... ...perhaps a little volume, treble, bass, or what is the music, but if I find the audio-control mode and select a different sound for a radical difference. Sound cards actually change the way your music, all audio output, depending on the mode you select. Although theoretically every state has a purpose, they sound different from everything, and allows a user. Entertainment used to play when you are satisfied with the sound is always strong, especially ...

What difference does this sound card make?
Advantages: superb sound, easy to control. Disadvantages: can be harder to set up than lesser types.
...update this via the excellent creative website which offers excellent support if needed, all you need to do is register your card.
Range of Features
WOW!
HUGE!
The lenghtly disk install as described does add alot to the computer. It adds programs for organising your music to controlling your sound. if you wish to use it, the better the man you are, if not, you do not need to. Once all set up I would recommend exploring the huge range of features ... ...The main ones are the consoles which are console to set up for your games (Game mode), music, dvd's and simular (Entertainment mode) and recording (Audio creation mode). There are enough features to keep even the most advanced user happy and the less advanced entertained for years.
For Entertainment
This card in the proper modes will let you hear parts of songs you never heard before. The differnce in the sound is huge. It suports multi channel ...

Fatal Flaws
Advantages: Under XP this is a great souncard for games and musicians. Disadvantages: Under Vista there have been issues.
The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatality sound card was the best piece of equipment I could afford to buy when I made my latest PC. I'd gone for expensive and high-quality components because I use my machine for gaming. Gaming drives hardware manufacturers because ever more ambitious and demanding games software requires ever more powerful hardware. The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatality has 'XRAM' on-board that can take the load of your processor ... ...delighted to find that the Creative X-Fi Fatality could add some great effects to inputs in real time. These included chorus, reverb, digital delay, flanger and chorus. Not only that but an electric guitar could be grunged up a treat with distortion. It was even possible to engage combinations of these effects.
Finally, on the recording side still, there's a front panel into which a whole variety of devices might be connected via phono leads, optical ...
