Griffin iMic 2 - excellent for vinyl, tape & live studio audio.

Advantages: Versatile, simple to use, good sound quality in and out, inexpensive for what it does.
Disadvantages: Doubtful sound quality if you plug your record deck directly into it, go via an amp instead.
