This CD contains a wide selection of song sung by the original cast members from a veriety of shows. This is a brill CD to put on as background music or to put on full blast and have a good sing along with! I thoroughly reccomend this CD to anyone who has an interest in the musical theatre as it highlights all the best songs that have ever been written for the stage to date! this cd is good if you want to expand your knowledge of musicals or if you enjoy musicals in general. it has a wide variety of songs from different musical genres. i like the way it is set out. one cd with songs from braodway, one with songs from the west end and one with songs from different musical films. it is a good product to learn different tastes and musical stories. one really negative point is the singers. they are very poor quality voices ... Les Miserables follows an ex-convict called Jean Valjean, as he is turned aside from a life of crime to a life of charity and love, caring for a young girl he adopts whilst all the while having to avade capture by Police Inspector Javert. Monsieur and Madame Thernadier are suitably nasty, but are too cockney and don't convey enough venom in my opinion. Eponine on the other hand is quite, frankly, dreadful. I saw this show on the stage recently and absolutely loved it. Like most women, this is one of my favourite movies and I was excited about seeing it Live to see how they would do it. It was also my hen night so I went with 15 of my closest friends and had a absolute wail of a time. This show is definitely for girls, leave the men at home. ...the atmosphere as you believe Johnny is dancing just for you! The cast are abolutely amazing, the dancing is brilliant and they stick pretty much to the storyline which I like. The Johnny character was very believeable and was the best dancer on the stage. At one point he took his top off and the whole theater just exploded.
