If you've seen the movie, and love the music in it, pick up this single disc reissue of the original classic 2-LP album. I have the original record album and played it quite frequently. Monsieur and Madame Thernadier are suitably nasty, but are too cockney and don't convey enough venom in my opinion. Eponine on the other hand is quite, frankly, dreadful. This CD contains a wide selection of song sung by the original cast members from a veriety of shows. This is a brill CD to put on as background music or to put on full blast and have a good sing along with! I thoroughly reccomend this CD to anyone who has an interest in the musical theatre as it highlights all the best songs that have ever been written for the stage to date! Mamma Mia is a musical based on the songs by Abba. This is a review of the CD which has the original cast recordings from the musical.
