Advantages: Great taste, more-ish Disadvantages: Bit sickly after a while
...a big fan of apple sourz and after trying cherry sourz one night when i was out, this is definately the better one out of the two.
I enjoy doing shots and having different various drinks when Im out, but if your like me & dont like anything too strong you should try these shots. Some shots out there, really make me gag, from where they taste so strong or from where they've got too much alcohol in them!
I tried a shot ... ...I tend to use cherry sourz just as a fruit flavoured shot, but it also tastes great mixed long with cola, lemonade or soda and ice.
I also tried sourz cherry with vodka topped up with cola, which makes the perfect sour cherry cola.
I found after pouring a few shots the bottle did get very sticky and it does stain clothes and also left a slight stain mark on the table in my front room. They are very more-ish but can get ... more

I tried a shot of cherry sourz in my local yates, which was £1.50. They are a deep cherry red colour and smell like cherry drops I used to get when i was younger and they have a familiar cherry drop taste as well, with the added twist of being sour. They didn't taste too strong & didn't make me gag like other shots do.
I've also seen they sell these shots in many other bars and you can also buy the bottles in Sainsburys. Tesco's, Adsa and good off-licsence's.
The bottles are quite large and a slightly different shape to any other normal bottle of liqueur, and they normally sell for about £9.99, which is for a 700ml bottle (the only size they do) which is 15% volume!

They also do Apple Sourz, Tropical sourz & Pineapple sourz which I am yet to try.
Advantages: great taste, versatile, great in cocktails Disadvantages: don't realise it's alcoholic
...I've experienced the apple sourz on many a night out with my girlfriends in the shot variety, and it's also great with lemonade so when I discovered that a cherry variety of this drink existed I was determined to track it down! Cherry is one of my ultimate favourite flavours - be it cherry jelly sweets or a cherry daquiri, I love it!
Now, this wasn't easy to find - it wasn't available in my local tesco or asda - but I eventually found it for £10.49 ... ...in colour, so is a great ingredient in cocktails. It tastes sweet and sour and fabulously of cherry. It doesn't taste alcoholic at all and is pretty sweet. It's also really versatile, it can be drunk with a mixer, in a cocktail or as a shot. I love it with a dash of vodka and coke - it tastes just like cherry cola :o) ...

Advantages: tastes great, versatile Disadvantages: can be sickly in volumes!
I'm a bit of a fan of sweet and 'sickly' drinks - I love cocktails, especially fruity or milky chocolately ones - so it's probably not a surprise that I'm a big apple (and cherry!) sourz fan!
It's a sweet-sour apple spirit and tastes great. Its smells really appley and sweet and that's exactly how it tastes. It comes in a 70cl bottle, which costs around £10 which I think is pretty good value. (£10.42 at Tesco, a few pence cheaper at Asda). It's 15% alcohol.
It's very sweet to drink, with a tangy-sour kick. This is not overly powerful or at all nasty, in fact I find it adds an interest to the drink. I often drink this as a shot when out with friend - this is about 0.4 units of alcohol. I also use it as a cocktail ingredient or drink with lemonade or a dash of vodka, which is actually quite refreshing.
It vomed in a bright ...
Advantages: Tasty with mixer and not too strong Disadvantages: The bottle runs out eventually
The whole Sourz range has a new look! The new flavours are sooo tasty, especially when mixed. My favourite has to be CherrySourz and Coke. But apple Sourz is really nice with cranberry or lemonade.
It's so sweet you can hardly taste the alcohol; and at 15% it doesn't blow you away. I've seen that blackcurrant and tropical Sourz are in the shops now and I really want to know if they're as good as apple and cherry. Someone told me that tropical, cherry and lemonade all mixed together is their favourite drink so I really have to try that.
It definitely has to be one of the greatest shots, but it's even better as a mixer. Take my word for it and get mixing! ...
