South Park Rally (PlayStation)

Fans of South Park among you have no doubt looking forward to the release of South Park Rally. Perhaps you've even avoided such games as Speed Freaks and Crash Team Racing in the meantime. Well the long wait is over, please feel free to break open your piggy bank and buy either of the games above, but whatever you do, don't waste your money on this game. Like the other South Park games before it, Rally relies entirely on it's ""prestegous"" Comedy Central licence to get you to waste your hard earned cash on it. Using in-game graphics, the intros, along with it's demos, are short, especially the poor 3D versions of the cartoon. Some bad language is bleeped out but other bits aren't, making the game feel incomplete. The games only strong point is that there is many game modes, such as delivering lemonade, protecting chickens and curing Mad Cow Disease. Unfortunately, these have to be unlocked by winning the championship mode, and if your not bored stiff after a couple of races then there is something wrong with you. The graphics are poor, the voice samples are annoyoing and the funniest thing about the game is the handling of the vehicles-it's a joke! As if that wasn't enough, the weapons are offensive in both senses of the word. In fact, South Park Rally is an insult, plain and simple.
