I think the people at Space kitchens are completely mad! I was foolish enough to allow myself to be canvassed and let a rep visit on a beautiful Sunday when I could have been out in the garden. We got the whole sales spiel which seemed to be endless and then showed him our tiny (7' by 7') kitchen. He actually came up with a really nice design and we were quite interested. However, then another hour was spent whilst he dissed every other kitchen manufacturer on the planet. Finally he said that for the quality of a Space kitchen, we would normally have to pay 20k for a kitchen!!!! We said what nonsense and what would Space charge? He asked if we would sign up there and then and we said we needed a day to think. We would, infact, have happily agreed to pay 6k but didn't want to be rushed into signing right there, right now. At that point the rep flew into a rage and said the price would be £15k or nothing and then slammed out of the house??!! We really did want a kitchen and were completely baffled about this. It was actually a horrible experience and a waste of two and a half hours of a lovely day. We have since pondered as to whether the rep could have been on drugs or something!! My advice to anyone, honestly, is do NOT let Space kitchens into your home. The whole set up is very odd.
