Hi, I have worked for Space Kithens for over 3 years, and I have been astounded at the lengths they go to, to close a deal. Unfortunately Space Kitchens in my opinion still live in the dark ages when it comes to sales... in my opinion they still think that pressure sales, cold calling, canvasing etc is still the be all and end all.... IN A WORLD OF TPS REGULATIONS (telephone prefference service) they still think its the marketing tool of the 21st century - this is in my opinion
They tried to form a new company and they showed the staff about 6 weeks ago a new brochure for the new company saying it was the future and that because of all the enquiries off their website they needed to form this new company to deal with the demands. However on Friday we walked into work to find people emptying their desks - no one had made an announcement at this stage.... but we new when we got paid 5 days earlier something was happening, plus rumours etc
at around lunchtime they told us that the company had gone into administration and that basically we had no jobs!! nice..
Anyway if you ring the head office youwill not get any Joy as there is no one there, but if you ring there FREEPHONE 0800 2 88 88 88 then they are still answering as space kitchens.... strange dont you think!!!
PS IF THEY OWE YOU MONEY AND YOU NEED TO CONTACT THEM TRY. Allegedly Thats where they are ;)

This is not the only thing I can tell you - I could tell you much more, however this will come out in the relevant places as I am going to become a whistle blower on things.... shame really (NOT) Oh and i am not a disgruntled employee, as I am rather glad to get out of this company..... even if it was by force... However they really have annoyed the wrong person in myself.... They probably know who I am - but hey ho!!

I have been informed by a reliable source that they have allegedly taken some staff (around 20) down to the address above and are allegedly going to re-open as Weatherseal Kitchens (this is probably because around 3 weeks ago, Ian blackhurst was made Chief Executive of Space Kitchens.. in my opinion its strange how Companies owned by Brian Brian Kenedy - shut with debts and re-open as new companies)...

Hi, welcome to Ciao. I inquired about kitchen with Space Kitchens and they wouldn't leave me alone even after I said I wasnt interested. I had to make up something really awful to get rid of them. Why on earth does anyone buy under the conditions they sell?
