I make my own wooden jigsaw puzzles and for this reason I have to use my coping saw from Spear and Jackson. Because using a coping saw is time consuming and my blades are always under a lot of tension and they are a very fine blade anyway, I find that they will often be prone to snapping off. This aggravates me but there is nothing I can do about it. I have tried using some cheap replacement blades but I always find that they never last long and it is just false economy.
