The best soundtrack I have heard in a long time from a film.
My brother took me to see the film and I actually enjoyed it so he bought me the soundtrack just a few weeks ago along with the film.
Now Or Never ****
This track has a good beat and Zac Efron(as much as I really hate him) Has a great voice. I love the cheerleaders chant in this track it really sets an edge to it. The chorus is really catchy and I came out of the cinema singing it.
Right Here Right Now *****
Vanessa Hudgens has such a lovely voice and next to Zac's it sounds even better. I love the lyrics to this track and the acoustic rhythm, I like the way they start singing softly at the beginning of a verse and build it up, you can tell that their voices are strong and confident.
I Want It All ...
Advantages: amazing songs, fab cast, easy to follow, family fun! Disadvantages: over too quick!
and contests too, all the time miss High and Mighty Sharpay wanting to better everybody. (If anybody feels this is inaccurate...blame the internet!).
In HighSchoolMusical3: SeniorYear, it is the final year for the seniors at highschool, and they are all taking part in the school show as a sort of final way to have fun together. There's no surprise the super-talented Troy and Gabrielle bag the lead roles, but Sharpay is prepared to do anything to steal the light from Gabriella? Can she rely on the help from her new British 'assistant', Tiara. Whilst tackling the show and the yearbook, the seniors have to decide which colleges they want to. Will Troy's heart be set on basketball, or his dreams set in a different direction, perhaps somewhere a little closer to Gabriella?
I hadn't read anything about the plot before seeing the film either ...
Advantages: Good toe tapping songs, Fantastic choreography Disadvantages: A tad cheesy
I was not a huge fan of the first 2 HighSchool Musicals. One would say a formula set for money making and taking from young people of the world whilst at the same time milking the old cash cow in the process was never going to flutter in my eyes. The first was a tried and tested approach to reproducing the next best 'thing' in the Disney tweenie bop department, but it worked quite well leading onto many other followups of the same league (The Hannah Montanna esquire audience will agree.) The sequel was obviously a cash in to sell more merchandise but it was arguably as good as the first, with many more catchy tunes and typical HighSchool cliques for the little ones to boggle at. So here we are, back again with HighSchoolMusical3: SeniorYear. But this time we are taking things to a whole new level. The BIG screen in fact ...
