Advantages: Good representation of the tv series, kids will find some enjoyment in it Disadvantages: Repetitive gameplay, loose controls, generally very rough around the edges
products of the StarWars name is an animated television series called The CloneWars. Effectively set between Episode II and Episode III, it tells a number of stories in half hour episodes set in the CloneWars conflict. Being a cartoon it clearly aims to rope in the younger audience to an extent, and then aims to keep them entertained through that classic mix of lightsabers and, well, other science fiction things. But it?s all about the lightsabers really. Following on from the television series is StarWars: Republic Heroes, is the latest in a very long line of StarWars games. And whilst there have been some excellent StarWars games over the years, there have also been a lot of pretty terrible ones as well. So where does this latest offering fit on the grand scale?

Advantages: A solid Star Wars score with an absolutely fantastic new theme Disadvantages: Muddy recording quality and a little less exciting action for a Star Wars score
Now that the StarWars prequel saga has reached its Third and final episode I think its time I handled the remaining Episodes in my soundtrack evaluations, handling Episode II first. This then leads to a forbidden romance between Anakin and Padmé, the consequences proving to be far-reaching as we all know. And furthering the rise of the Galactic Empire is the Trade Federation's creation of an army ...
Advantages: Great character design. Interesting Stories Disadvantages: A bit short.
This is the first series of the CloneWars cartoon series which fills in some of the gap between the second and thirds episodes of the StarWars Prequel Trilogy, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
There is a lot to enjoy here. I love the animation style used here which is very stylised and full of energy. The series is produced by Genndy Tartakovsky, the creator of Samurai Jack, and the look and design of CloneWars owes a lot to that series. All the main characters from the Prequels return in animated form along with a few new characters such as the evil Sith Apprentice Asij Vantress. With the exception of C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) the voices are done by a cast of experienced voice actors and they do a great job, although there is noticably little dialogue in this first series.
The series itself was originally broadcast ...
