Advantages: Precise clear demonstrations Disadvantages: 1980's style - very dated
As a beginner to sugarcraft this dvd cover looked exactly like the type of thing I wanted to be able to create, I thought the dvd would show me how to re-create the cake on the front cover and more alike - this cake is not mentioned, clearly an up to date cover!! Very dated format and the only soundtrack is such an annoying child-like jingle. Although I was initially disappointed Elaine MacGregor is clearly very talented and gives good clear and ... ...each subject and you do gain so much more than looking through sugarcraft books. You just can't beat being shown, somethings I just couldn't grasp from the vast amount of books available.
Lots of ideas to try and once again, althought the examples are dated you are shown the skills to put into practice on modern designs of your own. It gave me an insight of how things are done properly instead of me guessing how to do it! Sugar Models - you are ...

Advantages: an energetic and fun workout Disadvantages: the moves can be a bit complicated
Having already tried the pump it up beach body workout i decided to try the high energy workout as i thought that it would be more challenging than the beach body workout. Like the other ministry of sound workout dvds it incorporates aerobic moves with dance moves to make a fun and enjoyable workout. This workout has 5 sections which include a warm up and cool down aswell as a dance section.

...seen the ministry of sound pump it up beach body dvd advertised on TV i decided that i had to have it. I like to keep fit and i love dancing so this would combine the two. I also thought that this would be a fun workout which would help to keep me motivated. Having bought the dvd from my local asda store it was now time to do my workout.
The dvd has four sections which are the warm up, dance section, bums,tums and thighs and cool down i will now ... ...easy section as expected.

Advantages: wide varitey of moves Disadvantages: poor music, and viisuals
...are very old fashioned in the way they are filmed. When the lady tells you what to do , the girl on the screen has usually already finished doing it. The music is annoying , a bit like music in a lift. There are a wide variety of exercises to do, but none really enjoyable. If you want a good old fashioned dance around to up to date music, then dont go for this. If your old and hard of hearing then dont go for this because you wont hear the music ...

Advantages: worked for a while Disadvantages: didnt work well for me
Most people will know Charlie Brooks for her character Jeanine Butcher in Eastenders, I am unsure weather this DVD did in fact help Charlie lose the weight but it is true she is now looking great. I aways feel these kinds of DVD's are stupid in the sense that the celebrities put there name on them and get all the recognition yet it is fitness trainers who actually 'teach' you the work out.
I have never been one to buy this sort of thing, but hey, ... ...after buying the DVD and using it 2 twice a day (morning before work and Evening after dinner) I did star to lose a couple pounds but shortly after that the work out was not helping. I think the best thing to lose weight is just eat healthy and do a hours exercise a day, But then again everyone says that and I don't think anyone actually listens any more. ...
