Spectacular Nail Polish Remover

Advantages: It's cheap...
Disadvantages: but nasty

"Spectacular" nail varnish is well-known throughout the country now for it's wide variety of colours at bargain prices. It is not high quality, but serves a purpose and is popular for the teenage market. They also have a nail-varnish remover on sale which I bought against my better judgement to see if a cheaper product such as this would be any good. After wearing a good-quality nail varnish which I have used many times before I used to nail varnish ...
...the nail varnish off. The bottle does not last long because so much is needed to clean your nails! I used it until I had finished the bottle though, which was a few weeks. After this time my nails were very brittle and I feared them breaking if I looked at them too hard! Advantages: DOESN WHAT IT SAYS ON THE BOTTLE
Disadvantages: A LITTLE HARDER TO USE ON GLITTERY POLISH

......the bottle does actually suggest that the formula be kept away from kids, fabrics etc. It was certainly nourishing for my nails and although it wasn't spectacular it made a significant difference, but its nail polish removing power was certainly better than products I have used before. *OVERALL VERDICT* To conclude, I can safely say that the product is a lot better than most other brands I have used, as I haven't yet come across a product which does a better job. However, that doesn't mean that I stop trying! However, in times of need, Cutex is always there :) The product is good value for money, and it lasts for ages, you can't go wrong! ...stuff than was needed for the normal nail polish. So having performed pretty well on the nail polish removing tests I decided to make a conscious effort to see whether my nails were in any better condition after a few uses of the nail polish remover. The effect was quite noticeable, although my nails are still quite weak without nail polish they are evidently better than they were before, they also look healthier and the tips (to my surprise) did seem whiter. So in conclusion, this product does do what it claims. It was certainly nourishing for my nails and although it wasn't spectacular it made a significant difference. Its nail polish removing power was certainly better than products I have used before. For normal nail polish it is great and although glittery stuff does take a while and a lot of scrubbing - you get there in the end... Read review
