The good thing about this, is it uses the same cable that connects to your PC (the firewire cable...like a standard USB cable, but much quicker) and you just plug it into the top of the adaptor, and the adaptor goes straight into the mains. Viola! It takes approx 4 hours to fully charge the iPod, however, a quick 1 hour charge will fill approx 80% of the iPods battery (100% charge = approx 8 hours playtime). Unfortunately, the cable doesn't come with the power supply, but you are supplied with one when you first purchase the iPod, but they can easily be picked up from any Apple supplier.
The two prongs on the front fold away into the adaptor, so all your left with is a nice neat "box" measuring approx 1" x 2" x 2" ...and of course ...
