Logic 3 Stand for Sony PlayStation 2 Colour: Black

Ok, so I am always going on about my gadget freak hubby. Well, what I havent told you is one VERY big reason why all this gadget stuff annoys the HECK OUTTA ME! Its because these darned gadgets clutter my house to the point guests must be wondering if we are trying our own design technique called the 'TIP design.' Thats right, those gadgets begin to make your home look more like a bloody TIP than a living space. To make it worse, we only have a two bedroom flat. So, we didnt exactly come equipped with masses of space to begin with.

So how does that lil rant relate to this here PS2 stand? Well, its simple, I HAVE NO MORE ROOM UNDER THE TELE! Which means, that it would have to lay on its bloomin side beside the tele, and just take up all the more floor space! As if I HAVE any remaining floor space! (At least I dont have to use my lovely dyson and worry about it being used up, afterall, I HAVE NO FLOOR SPACE LEFT TO GET CRUMBS ON!) Are we beginning to notice a theme here? The great thing about this stand is, that though it is VERY small, it actually works. I am not exaggerating for the point of this review either. When hubby first bought it, I thought, 'Oh well there goes the designer without the brain. Tall thin box, SHORT squat base. Yeah right. Can we say TOP HEAVY?' Well just call it my lack of spacial reasoning because this sucker is actually quite sturdy, believe it or not. The PS2 slots right down into the wide slot at the end of the base quite well and the sides of the stand come up just high enough to hold it in place. And, considering these PS2 consoles have lasers inside, I can tell you from experience, (or from the perspective of being ripped off by the repairman) that when you knock one over, there is a high chance you killed it then and there. Something to do with killing the laser or the laser burning into some part. I dunno. That was just the load of jargon I was given when we had ours out in the middle of the floor one day (long story), and I very oxen-like stumbled over it and it died! Permanently!

So, if you find that you already have a satellite/digi cable box, a vcr, and a dvd player under your tv and you JUST DONT HAVE ROOM for the PS2 as well, then buy one of these and maximise the life of that PS2 by protecting it from being 'knocked-off' early! We got ours for around £10 about 4 years ago. I am sure if you sweet talk the salesman though, he will probably GIVE you one as long as you are buying a package and other gizmos at his shop!

Urgent BULLETIN JUST RELEASED:

Dear old 'Gadgety One' has deemed it neccessary to inform all of the fellow gadget ppl out there, that the PS2 is actually DESIGNED to sit on its side OR stand. He went further to prove this (as the point being it is PERFECTLY safe to STAND the PS2 on end), by revealing that the lil PS LOGO in the middle of the disc slide tray is actually capable of being rotated so it ALWAYS 'looks right' no matter which direction you have permanently placed your playstation in! WELL GOLLY GEE THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT....I would NOT want my lil PS design logo to look ever so lopsided, now WOULD I?! And THIS from a man that doesnt understand WE HAVE NO MORE SPACE IN THE HOUSE FOR GADGETS!
