An original concept and new intellectual property from Buena Vista Games, Spectrobes introduces two junior Interplanetary Patrol officers named Rallen and Jeena who learn of...
more...strange, prehistoric creatures called Spectrobes that possess special powers. These Spectrobes hold the key to defeating a vicious and merciless force, known only as the Krawl, that threatens to destroy the galaxy. The two heroes embark on a mission to save their galaxy – to do so they must excavate, awaken, train and collect all the Spectrobes they can and battle to defeat the Krawl. Developed in Japan, Spectrobes is a dynamic new anime-inspired action RPG franchise that uniquely combines characters, story and innovative gameplay for kids and audiences of all ages. Spectrobes allows players to excavate, train and battle with nearly 500 unique monsters -- utilizing every interactive feature of the Nintendo DS.

Poke-like creature RPG with excavating!
Review of Spectrobes (NDS) by SamThinks

Advantages: solid game.
Disadvantages: Still loads of running back & forth, sometimes cant avoid battles

Good all round RPG. With delightful bouncy creature that follows you, helps you find & excavate other fossils...which you bring back to life in the lab & incubate for further growth. Get to bank up power foods for your beastys so you can increase specific traits & tolerances. You get to unlock secret modes/evolution stages with the playing card that come with, have not figured how to use it yet...apparently you overlay it on the screen, tap the ...
...I dont know yet :-P Similarly to Pokemon, you get to make friends with your creatures, and the more positive vibes there are between you guys..the better they perform in battle. Unlike Pokemon however, you have the opportunity to play 2 creatures in battle AT ONCE, utilising the shoulder buttons and the D-pad. You yourself can get in there & punch a daemon, but its more effective if your minions..i mean friends do it..afterall; fight fire with fire ... Read review

Advantages: idea's
Disadvantages: music

spectrobes , i heard that it was meant to be the next thing like pokemon.. they have also released trading cards which you can upload easily through your touch screen on you Nintendo ds. the game graphics are really good and they don't disintegrate when you move around if you know what i mean. the game itself is ok.. the idea's are there but its a bit to repetitive for my liking you first leave the 'space ship' you have to walk around for a while ... First of all, it's Worms. It's a timeless classic. It's one of the greatest games of all time. If you don't own it already, stop reading this and go out and buy it. Provided you're willing to spend £20 purely on the unjustified recommendation of a review more

This is not a good a the first Bratz, you can't play each game unless you have gone onto different levels, so if oyu find it hard to get onto different levels you can't get of the spot. My youngest daughter finds this one very hard, although once you... more

My little sister recieved this game last christmas and, as far as I can tell has played on it no more than twice since. The whole concept just seems to be far too repetative to be able to hold the attention of a young child for more than a couple of... more
