Spiderman: Friend Or Foe (Wii)

Advantages: Great sound effect, 3d graphics are smooth and characters have plenty of moves
Disadvantages: Repetition and a short story mode eludes this game from a 10/10 review.

...SpiderMan Friend or Foe well what can be said about he the game because the name already has got me hooked! Being a child that grew up on this colourful crimefighter and one that has played all of his games so far I was expected another great HIT and this is my verdict on this edition of spiderman and his enemies uniting: I feel the story mode is very well done as it does something never concieved in a spiderman game by putting the hero and villiant together on the same team. The co-op play in this game along with its brilliant gameplay and superb 3d graphics will keep even the eccentric gamer in his seat. The only foreseeable down part on this game is its fairly quick storymode and blatant repetition which has made the game suffer.... Read review

Advantages: Its spiderman
Disadvantages: Butt ugly, horrible control. No fun to play

...Oh dear. Spiderman3 on the PS3 and 360 wasn't brilliant, but it was a passible game and if you like spiderman 2 then you where getting more of the same. The WII version isn't a passable game, in fact I'm reluctant to even call it a game. Depending on who you are, the WII is either a revolution in computer entertainment or a Fad that wont last long. But what ever you think, you cant deny that the thought of using the WII mote to cast a web just like Spiderman is an exciting thing. But its not exciting when you find out it doesn't work. First off it takes about 4 button presses just to shoot out a strand....now when your supposed to be swinging for your life against the clock it doesn't exactly help. Advantages: Easy to follow and very playable

...The Story ------------- Spiderman: Friend of Foe starts with a cut scene showing spiderman being beaten by all the villians from the movies. (Doc Octopus, Green Goblin, Sandman and Venom) When they are all attacked by a common enemy, later we learn, called "Phantoms". Phantoms are the minions of Mysterio, a slightly psychotic super villian. The phantoms are being controlled, and came to earth in a meteor. It is spidermans job to find all the shards of the meteor and wipe out the phantoms and get to Mysterio! As spiderman travels from area to area, he meets friends (you and see where this is going!) and foes, some who join in the fight and some who reluctantly agree to help after being beaten by spidey!
