I have been buying this magazine from the first issue and have never missed one, in fact I can hardly wait for the next issue to come out. I am interested in all things spiritual which is why I decided to buy this magazine in the first place, and I have never been disappointed in the content of this magazine, it has good spiritual articles and a whole lot more. As with all magazines of this sort it has a monthly horoscope, this dedicates a page to each star sign covering Love, Career, Friends and Cash It also gives dates for Shine on days( time for happy events) Hide-away days( low days) and Red letter days ( love events) .Cosmic key give general planetary influence for the month ahead. They also give you a star sign to watch out for and the influence they could have on your life. I never take these generalised
horoscopes too seriously but they are good to read to get an idea of the planetary influence.
There is a readers letters page with the star letter receiving a collection of Fenjal body products and a silk bathrobe.
Star Dates is a page that gives the best days to do certain things according to the planets and gives you the months moon cycle dates.
There is a celebrity watch page where a psychic, Eve Peacock gives a prediction of what is in store for certain stars.
The Barefoot Doctor gives words of wisdom and knowledge on different aspects of life to help us on our spiritual journey.
Sex and Shopping is a great page with interesting facts on all things sexual and gives a few good products and where to buy them things such as crystals jewellery and beauty items. There is also a page which features hot new trends and happenings for the month Astro agony Aunt answers all your problems using astrology.
There is a holistic Health page featuring questions from readers regarding heath problems. Steven Langley a natural healing expert from Hale Clinic recommends the alternative therapy’s to help their ailments. Always an interesting read and I have found a lot of useful information.
The Love Clinic recommends different types of alternative therapy’s for readers relationship problems and gives the results these therapy’s have on the relationship. Each month Dream catcher gives the meaning of a celebrities dream plus a few other symbols and what they mean if we dream of them.
The Lifestyle pages contain a wealth of fashion, beauty and home advice, tips and products I always find that the clothes featured are always expensive this is my only let down from this magazine.
Bewitched is a section hosted by their resident witch Silja here she answers readers problems gives us magic spells she also features different wiccan deity’s used in magic and gives tips on superstitions ect.And gives a short write up of things that have been happening in her life to give us an insight into the wiccan way of life Each month they feature a star and gives an insight into the person they are according to their style of dress and using Indian face reading. And a What’s going on with? Article on a star in the spotlight and a chin there life.
Every month they feature a different item giving useful health benefits and interesting historical and magical facts associated with it and also a few recipes using it. I have tried a few of the recipes in Spirit and Destiny and they have always turned out really nice. One month they featured some feng shui recipes and these where really enjoyable to make and since trying some of these my own cooking skills seem to have improved especially when it comes to food presentation.
On top of all this there are many different articles each month on alternative lifestyles divination , cooking, diet,health,fashion, beauty, magic spells, angels , mediums,love, family relationships, celebrity’s and travel including home and abroad and alternative holiday destinations, everything you need to know to live a happier healthier life, each issue is packed with information and there are a couple of pages advertising Psychics.
Spirit and Destiny is on sale 13th-15th of each month costing £2.80 for about 115 interesting pages of information. I have made up a few scrapbooks for recipes ,spells and magic, and beauty and Herbs and healing and there are always articles to cut out and keep from Spirit and Destiny
