Spirit and Destiny first came to my attention a couple of years ago when a friend gave me her old copy of the magazine.I was instantly hooked. This is not just your usual monthly mag it has much more to offer.
Spirit & Destiny has many different sections to appeal to different readers.
There is a destiny and beyond section which, this month, includes Chinese horoscopes,an article on reading auras and the magazines resident white witch offering simple spells and remedies to solve readers dilemmas.
In the feel good section there is celeb watch where a psychic or clairvoyant predicts what is going to happen to different celebrities in the coming months.Feel good also includes a monthly article by the barefoot doctor, star dates and what's hot this month.
In this months edition features include an interview with John Travolta and his beliefs on reincarnation and an article about organ donation where the recipients believe they received more than just the organ!
My favourite part of the magazine is, by far, the mind, body and spirit section. There are articles on holistic health and alternative therapies as well as food news, whats new with health matters and a dream section. They are always very well written ,useful and highly informative.
Spirit & Destiny also includes fashion pages, agony aunts and competions.
The magazine costs £2.90 a month.I used to buy mine from Asda as it was sometimes difficult to get hold of in smaller newsagents.I have now subscribed to the magazine which works out slightly cheaper and means it gets delivered straight to my door earlier than a new edition arrives in the shops. I think the magazine is excellent value for money as there is plenty to read and less adverts than usual. It's not to everyones taste but I find it a highly enjoyable read with a difference..Give it a go if you're bored with your usual weekly or monthly mags.
