OK I am still going to write this review but please be aware that Splash Plastic doesn't fully exist anymore - it's now 360Money!

~ About ~
Splash Plastic allows you to apply for a card, like a Debit Card (except without a bank account) and then you can take it to a top-up shop that deals with/allows either PayPoint or PayZone transactions. You hand the card over with a certain amount (minimum of £10) and then it's applied/topped up to the card almost instantly.

You can then spend the money on your card in certain online shops but ONLY if they accept this type of payment. Places like CD-WoW, Habbo Hotel, Attitude Clothing and various other places do accept the card but a lot of them, like Play or Amazon don't accept it.

~ Benefits ~
>Almost free to use, you have to pay a small fee to get a card.
>Totally debt-free -- you only spend what you have on the card.
>Bank account less -- No bank account attached to your card.

~ How It Works ~
>Go to the Splash Plastic website.
Once you're there you've got to...

>Apply for a new card.
Applying is easy, you fill out one form and they send you the card but you have to agree how to pay, if at all. If you don't want your name displayed on the card (an 'unpersonalised card') then it's free, otherwise you pay £1.99 for a 'personalised card'.

>Receive the card.
Lovely! :-)

>Activate the card.
Simple, just go to the website and enter a special code.

>Top up the card.
Take the card along with some cash (minimum of £10) to a PayPoint or PayZone phone, hand the card over, ask for your chosen top up amount, hand the cash over, and it's done.

>Spend the cash online.
Visiting only shops that accept it, like CD-WoW, you can pay for good or services with it.

~ Notes ~
>The card is has very nice design.
White background with an orange square in the middle and a silver design inside the orange square.

>Decent customer service.
Quick to reply to e-mails, helpful to some extent.

>Doesn't exist anymore
Splash Plastic doesn't FULLY exist anymore because it's now become 360Money. The same great card with awesome spending powers anywhere that accepts Maestro or Solo! Although it's called 360Money, the card says both 360Money and Splash Plastic on it.

>Bad News about 360Money
The new card comes with new charges. A pay-as-you-go/use card means you have to pay £6.99 to get a card then £6.99 annually to continue using the card and also 25p (GBP) per transaction. A pay monthly card means you get it free but you have to pay £1.49 per month then transactions fees and/or anything else is just included in that. A premium card ... where you must be over 18 and have certain checks carried out on you first but you pay £1.99 per month and I think there is also a transaction fee too. -- I've got the Pay Monthly card .. much cheaper!

Never heard of this sort of card. Handy for online if you can't get a credit card . Anyway some good points in there, very interesting, (a little short - try and pad out your reports a bit) like I said interesting and unusual. Good stuff.

You don't appear to have proof-read this review before posting it. The first point for example isn't finished. Also, you don't really offer much information other than very sparse one line answers. A little more detail would be great. If you decide to change anything, please let me know and I'll happily re-rate.
