Main Opinion
I was greatly surprised by this game. I was not sure how a game of this genre would adapt to the Wii but it has done it and superbly. I also believe that this particular title in the series got its best reviews on wii compared with all other platforms.
The controls for the Wii are great, with you having to aim at the screen, whilst approaching enemies slowly or else they will hear you. The vast amount of things you can do, made even better by the numerous controls available make this game great. From climbing pipes and then strangling them from above to picking locks to defusing bombs, rope grappling and much much more, this game contains so many great elements.
Another good feature is the ability to sneak up behind enemies, grab them round the throat and interrogate them or use them as a shield.
The graphics are also brilliant especially for the Wii.
The dual objectives you must complete are also a nice touch, with your choices resulting in different outcomes and ultimately different storylines.
The many gadgets available is also great with many visions available (handy for defusing bombs), many grenades, EMP device, wall mines, sticky shockers (shocks your enemies).
I have not yet completed this game as it takes a while! So I have much more to find, as well as all that has been discovered so far. However it does take a while to get used to all the controls and everything.
I definitely recommend this game, especially due to the price: Amazon - £13.97 - You can't really moan at that!

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent (Wii)
I received this game as a Christmas present in 2008, though I believe the price to be in the region of £15 from Game. I have to say however, I wasn't impressed. Graphically the game is okay, not amazing, but tolerable. The gameplay isn't even that bad and actually allows you to become quite engaged with the game.
The major downfall however, is the controls. They are quite simply awful, and I think ... ...away from the game. You move around using the Nunchuck analogue stick and use the z button to use weapons such as grenades. The real problem is with the Wii remote controls. Rather than pointing at the screen where you want to shoot, you have to use the remote to look around until the crosshair (which is always in the centre of the screen) is in line with a target. This is an incredibly awkward way to have to control where to shoot, and it makes ...

Advantages: superb graphics & realistic movements Disadvantages: gameplay fairly tricky, camera controlled by main controller movement
This game looks fantastic! I was really excited about trying this one. My excitement soon faded, however when I went through the tutorial. The camera is controlled using the main controller. Every time you move even slightly, the camera angle changes! Using your guns takes a bit of getting used to also. Left 3 times, Down, Z button and B button to fire OCM, while at the same time keeping the controller still so the camera angle doen't change, AND ...
