Advantages: scrubbs well
Disadvantages: price

...rough with your scrubber. My Spontex scourers last me quite a long while. They are not suitable for non-stick pans. I find them useful for the BBQ and also can be used to rub down and prepare paintwork Does not rust like some soap filled pads. These handy scourers have taken over from brillo pads in my house.
