    Advantages Advantages Can drift away into another world for three hours

    Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band played live at Crystal Palace, home town of my football team, what more could I want? On the 26th May 2003, I went to one of the best concerts that I have been to in some little while. I go to quite a few concerts as a rule, and some friends of mine had become slightly overly obsessed with the notion of going to see Bruce Springsteen. I have always been somewhat of a fan of The Boss myself, but felt that in recent years he was beginning to wane.     As some of you may know who’ve read album reviews I’ve wrote of Bruce Springsteen I’m a really big fan. The past two days I’ve been lucky enough to see Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band live – twice. Two days, one after another. Springsteen performed at Crystal Palace on the 26th and 27th May. Both nights were a complete sell out. 30,000 people all cheering to Springsteen, the atmosphere which was just amazing is impossible to describe with words.     I had the rare chance to catch Bruce Springsteen live in my hometown of Munich, Germany on June 10th, 2003. He was playing the Olympiastadion, a open air venue with a capacity of around 30.000. Admission was around 60 Euros but I was lucky enough to get two free tickets from his record company (thank you Sony :-)) We were sitting right on the opposite side of the stage that still wasn't too far away so you could still see enough.
