This guitar comes with a good working Floyd Rose Licenced tremolo and locknut. My guitar spends most of its time on stage and after 2 years of Rock & Roll it still looks great. Very good paintjob. The headstock is also blue, wich gives it a very clasy look. This guitar comes with a good working Floyd Rose Licenced tremolo and locknut. All the hardware is black, and all the space between the bridge and the neck is filled up with black pickups (humbucker, singlecoil, humbucker) and that gives this guitar a kind of hightech image. So, the neck is longer than usual, but the body is not smaller, like many of its 24 fret colegues. That means that this is a very big guitar! (Not for small people!) It doesn't come with a case and it's very hard to find a fitting case, so be carefull: Take this guitar to the shop if you want to buy a case, don't just buy anything! Guitar has its weight, but not too heavy, and in good balance. I found the volume knob hard to reach (right under the bridge) but that problem is easy to solve: just change the volume with the tone knob. Easy to do without soldering, 5 minutes work. I bought this guitar with very thin strings (008?) on it and in order to put on a set of 009 strings, I had to put another spring under the tremolo bridge. (Extra springs don't come with the guitar).
And now the good news: This guitar is fast, very fast! Beautifull neck, supurb action! Playing with distorcion the humbucker in the bridge position sounds heavy, just what a rocker needs, lots of sustain, without feedback. The humbucker in the bridge position makes you sound like Carlos Santana. Playing clean there are new surprises: especialy the combinations of the singlecoil with one of the two humbuckers will turn this Monster of Rock into a perfect blues or jazz guitar. It comes with 1 tone and 1 volume control and a 5 way switch to select between the pickup combinations. All in all this is a very good looking, very fast playing and great sounding guitar for a very nice price. Any other guitar of this quality with these standards will easely cost you $500.00 more.
Advantages: QUALITY AND VALUE Disadvantages: PICKUPS COULD BE BETTER
I have 2 of these guitars now. One is dk blue w. 2 humbukers, the other is black w. 2 buckers and a single coil in the center. I have been playing guitar for 40 years and I own at least 15. My collection includes 2 HM strats, a US made stratocaster, a 72 Les Paul Custom, and a 63 SG Special. The Squire Stagemasters I own are neck through models. I can tell you without reservation these guitars deserved a better fate. They have the finest necks and ...

Quick review of Squier Stagemaster HSH Electric Guitar
I have one "Stagemastar Squier" H.S.H. I play live gigs since 1999 and i think that this guitar is made very fine especially the neck. I'm not satisfied with the pickups and all electronics, the volume control is increasing the volume very fast and rough. I think if i by 2 fender Texas specials and one Seymour Duncan JB hambacker, the guitar will be as good as original Strat (SRV). I'm writhing this review to help someone, because there wasn't anny when i buy this guitar. Now I have Gibson Les Paul studio and i don't play my squier, but I'm not going to sell it. ...
