MY Musso of 15 years. Available cheap towing , boats , caravans etc.
Advantages Galvenised body = no rust , Merc 5 cynlinder engine , loads of space , no cambelt ! Easy to maintain
Disadvantages Really can't think of any. Low on power , but quick fix gives loads more and better mpg.

The Author
Have owned this car , 1995 Musso 2.9D SE , for 15 years , cost £8000 when bought 2 years old with 18K . Now has 160K Plus.
Have traveled europe and whole of UK , towed caravans , trailers etc , with no problems.
Needed to change waterpump at about 100K , cheap and easy to do. Changed clutch at 155K , not really needed but had the time to do it and was cheap to do.
Change bottom ball joints , a bit of pain to do , but not a problem.
Have converted front axels to manual , easy job to do.
Still has original exhaust !
Starts first time , and has never let me down.
During the last few years with snowy winters , the car went really well , I live on a hill and the road up is a 1 in 6 , even covered in snow and ice , it drove straight up with no prob's!
Best mod I did was to turn up the fuel input on pump , changed car for the better , better mpg and less changing gear.
Available for towing , small boats , trailers, caravans etc ; 76p / mile as AA route finder , plus £20 (under review)
