This is a delicious and refreshing drink where the flavor of the pear really comes through. it has a real fruity flavor but is not overly sweet and my own experience is that it is so easy to drink right through the night, if you compare it with a normal apple cider i find that the taste can get boring and loose its appeal quickly. if you are going to a party be sure to take afew extra bottles because people are definitely going to want to try it, ... ...The only bad point i can really think of is that it is very expensive and this really counts against the drink, however its alcohol content is a satisfying 5% and its refreshing taste is deliciously addictive especially on these summer evenings.

...was offered a glass of st heliers pear cider.....ok i thought i will give it a try...and boy was it tasty...if you loved pear drops, then this is for you.
Its not over sweet, but just right and extremely morish......i can only find this in sainsburys myself, and it comes in a small 300ml bottle, or a litre bottle...the later being my preffered size !!
Its very easy to drink, more like pop than alcohol...so go easy !!!
