Discover The Swiss Secrets For Healthy Looking, Smooth, Radiant Skin
St. Ives Swiss Formula Apricot Scrub
I like this product. I have used the Apricot scrub on and off for a few years now, and the strength I am reviewing is 'gentle', for dry and sensitive skin. The size is 150ml, and cost £2.47 from Boots The Chemist, and the shelf life is 12months. It is hypo allergenic, and is suitable for face and body.
The stand up plastic, squeezable container is white and apricot colour in appearance. To the top of the tube are the words St. Ives written on a backdrop of white Alps, and snow, giving me a fresh clean impression of the product. Around the middle of the tube are the words Apricot Scrub, gentle, written across a bed of dew kissed apricots. Giving out the message that this product promotes healthiness also. It's a very attractive container, and made with care. I like the clean action of the snap-up lid to the base, revealing the apricot scrub inside.
The cream inside is thick, and peach colored, with sprinkled flecks of darker apricot in it. These darker grains are the rough exfoliating beads which work to remove the dead skin cells on the surface of your skin, and thus revealing a brighter, more radiant layer, and this scrub is gentle enough to use every day. Not that I think I would want to, but useful to know nonetheless. St Ives Swiss apricot scrub promises healthier looking skin, with this product.
To apply: First you wet your face and neck with warm water. Then taking an amount that you think is adequate, smear it over your skin. Make sure you have enough to completely cover the entire area. Then you gently massage it round your face and neck, until you feel the exfoliating beads doing their work. The whole process shouldn't take more than a minute or so. Take care not to get this scrub in your eyes. If you do happen to do so, rinse at once with cold water until your eyes feel completely clear. Then rinse all the scrub off with warm water, and pat dry with a clean towel. Then moisturise. You will really see the benefits of the scrub then, when your face will glow with a radiance. Having had all the debris removed.
The fragrance of the Apricot scrub is delightful. It obviously smells of apricots, and it also has has a smell of menthol, and lanolin, and it has a slightly more clinical smelling ingredient I couldn't put my finger on, but the whole, 'long' list of ingredients are to the reverse of the tube should you need to know. The apricot scrub consists of 95% naturally sourced ingredients, consisting of vitamin rich apricot extract, Swiss botanicals, and Swiss glacial water.
This formula is for dry sensitive skin, and is extra mild. Once the scrub is completed you will be left with smooth, pink, radiant new skin. The skin feels invigorated and flushed with the blood circulation energised after the facial massage, and the scrub feels warm and thick upon the skin. I like the feel of the beads easing away the dead skin cells, and deep cleaning my pores. My skin certainly feels much fresher after using this product. It will also leave your skin with a luscious smell of apricots too, and softer, smoother looking skin. St Ives Apricot Scrub
After so long of feeling like a beached whaled and deciding I needed to take some action and make myself feel and look a bit presentable, ready for the birth of this child, when ever that may be! This product is certainly one that will make you look and feel a hundred times better than when you first stepped into that shower!! St Ives Apricot scrub is basically a product containing exfoliater and you can apply to the whole ... ...can pretty much get this St Ives Apricot Scrub from most places such as Tesco’s, Boots Superdrug and the like. The price is pretty much the same wherever you go unless of course there is some sort of special offer on. I like to stock up when there is a buy one get one free offer as this really does make this product somewhat of a bargain. However you are averagely looking at paying around £3.99p for a large tube of this. There are different strengths ...

Advantages: Leaves skin looking bright and radiant. Gorgeous almond aroma. Disadvantages: The size of the scrubbing granules may be a bit too harsh for some.
This is a lovely facial scrub, smells goreous and definitely one of my favourites.
What is it?
***********
An exfoliating facial scrub to help remove old skin cells.
What does it do?
******************
It claims to contain apricot extracts to help deep cleanse pores. It helps to remove dull and dead skin cells to reveal fresh radiant skin.
As well as the vitamin rich apricot extracts, the scrub also contains Swiss botanicals and Swiss glacial ... ...I find it helps if you have your face thoroughly cleaned and free of make-up. Then ensure the skin is thoroughly damp, apply a little scrub onto the face and gentle massage in circular motions. I find the granules of this scrub quite coarse, so I personally use very little each time and massage only very gently, otherwise I could end up with red blotchy patches as I had done before when I first used it the first few times. It's also much gentler ...

I started using St Ives when I was back in uni, a friend of mine who was kinda obsessed with beauty products introduced it to me..:) I tend to try out particular beauty products for my face and stick to them and this is one of those I've stuck to..(not tried using it as a full body scrub yet.) St Ives Swiss Formula comes in a white 'upside-down' squeeze bottle with a big stripe of an orange picture of apricots across the middle and with a small picture ... ...the container and the words in dark blue and silver colours. I'm used to seeing it in the 150mL bottle, don't know if they do it in any bigger sizes. I paid about £3 for it and got my last one from Superdrug, it's stocked in Boots and supermarket chains too. The product is like a cream yet with a coarse texture brought on by the small particles it contains. It is an off-white orange-ish colour, the orange colour seems to be mainly from the particles. ...

Advantages: It works! - leaves skin rosy and radiant, reasonable price, suitable for everyday Disadvantages: May not be suitable for sensitive skin
The St Ives Swiss Formula Apricot Scrub (Blemish Fighting) formulation is, without a doubt, one of the best exfoliators I have tried and - something which is particularly important nowadays! - is available widely on the high street at a reasonable price. And the effect of the product has not just been noticed by me - a male friend of mine recently asked whether I had had a facial recently as my skin was looking so radiant - but I must give all credit ... ...for oily/blemish prone skin, the makers claim that the product contains 'more than 85% naturally derived ingredients, including Swiss glacial water and Swiss botanicals' (very impressive!) and has been dermatologically tested. The scrub is designed to be used as part of a regular beauty regime in order to help prevent blackheads and unclog pores on the skin's surface, giving a more radiant appearance to the face as the dry/oily top layer of skin ...

I started using StIves Ultra Gentle ApricotScrub a few months ago when it was bought for me as a gift and since then this has been my first choice of product to use.
I immediately noticed a visable change to my skin. I looked fresh and healthy.
I believe that this is the best product of its type to use because after applying to your skin you feel very clean and hydrated.
My skin felt much smoother and softer and I really felt like it was deep cleansing my skin right down to the pores.
What I also love about this product is that it contains 100% natural exfoliants and its very easy to use.
I would certainly recommend this product to anyone who wants to have visibly healthy skin from the second you apply it to your skin. ...
Advantages: It worked, Feels Amazing Disadvantages: None for me
I picked up this product after a sudden out burst of bad skin. I generally have quite oily skin but all of a sudden, I got these disgusting sort of black heads which look as though they are trapped under the skin.
I have been using this product for about ten days now and they are nearly all gone plus my skins looks very freshed faced and all for under £3!!!! It can make your face quite red but it calms down ater a couple of minutes. Its great for the morinings, it makes you look very awake!
I use the scrub every morning and night but once my skin has totally cleared I may just use it once a day as I think it will still be as effective.
This is definatly a product I will always be using from now on! ...
