the parts which are extra dry. When doing my face, I dab vaseline over my eyebrows and along my hair line, as I find that this helps stop me having orange eyebrows and brown marks framing my face!
One thing I should point out is that it is not a good idea to apply the lotion straight after you come out of the shower as your pores are opened up from the steam and you will be left with brown dots all over your skin!
*Application*
To apply I use StTropezlatexgloves, a mitt to apply to my face and hands and an applicator for my back. It is important that you cover your hands with gloves so that you are not left with bright orange palms. When I first started using this lotion, I used to just wash my hands every couple of minutes, but I was still left with orange palms and worse.. brown fingernails!

For the perfect fake tan, you need to use gloves to stop your hands going orange which is a big giveaway your tan is not real! StTropez sells a pack of 5 pairs of latexgloves for £2.25 so its a bit of a bargain. They are supposed to come in three sizes; small, medium and large. However I am a bit of a fake tanning queen and regularly buy these gloves which are sold in boots and department stores like Allders etc, but I have only ever come accross the small pairs. I am convinced nobody stocks larger sizes. They are a bit of a tight squeeze but do the job perfectly and you can't really complain for £2.25. They also have talcum powder in them to make putting them on easier anyway. Can be used with any fake tan, not necessarily sttropez and can be used a few times before throwing them away. This product has got to be one of the most convincing fake tans I have ever found. Last year, being a very pale shade with the task of being a bridesmaid for one of my mates, I decided that I didn't want my pale skin to clash with the pale dress I had to wear!! So off to a salon to have the StTropez professional tanning treatment. I was amazed!
I emerged from the salon with a decent tan (as it is coloured you can see the effects immediately). The tan developed and I was left looking as though I had been on holiday. It lasted for nearly 2 weeks. A real confidence boost for the vain people amongst us!!
After seeing how the professionals do it, I now do it myself!!! It is much better to mix half and half with moisturiser. If you go wrong you just apply another thin coat. You wash the excess off about 4-5 hours later and you ...
