Advantages Advantages Will give you a dark tan, if that is what you are after.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be too dark for some. Not exactly 'foolproof'. Price.

St Tropez Self Tan Lotion has been around for quite a while now. Loved by top celebrities, the people that always seem to have an emaculate tan, with no streaks. Something that seems impossible to most of us, unless you choose to fry on the beach, or opt for the sunbeds, which in my opinion you would have to be mad to do, unless you want to look like a dried up old prune not so far down the line, and not to mention the risk of skin cancer. So what can you do? I'm sure 80% of us have tried to fake tan with disastrous results, enough to put you off for life....and some people make it look so ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages time and money

St Tropez Self Tanning Cream Prepared to look my best for the birth of this child (whenever that might be) I have gone the whole hog and done everything possible to myself in order for me to appear more glamorous than ever. One step in my bid for glamour has been getting out the St Tropez fake tan and after one application I am certainly looking a lot healthier. I have had a bottle in my cupboard for a little while now and I used to apply it on a regular basis. I find that with a tan you can appear far sexier, slimmer and definitely more like you have been out in the sunshine (which with my ... more

    Advantages Advantages deceivingly good colour

Disadvantages Disadvantages quite pricey, very messy!

Dilema, Just been on holiday, have come back with a great tan, but not as great as you expected and it is fading fast because of the terrible English weather! Solution: St Tropez self tanning lotion So I paid just over £50 for St Tropez Step 1 (Exfoliant), Step 2 (moisturiser) and Step 3 (Auto Brozant). As I found out later, if you follow the instructions on the bottle, you should get a good result. For a virgin self tanner (which I was), it all looks a bit daunting after having paid out so much money! I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and once again I have been proven right. So ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice even colour, can see where it has been applied already

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Messy and expensive

*Introduction* The St Tropez autobronzant is a thick lotion which you apply on your face and body, and then leave to absorb for 4 hours before washing off to reveal your tan. It promises to be 'non-greasy' and 'quick drying' with a 'relaxing aromatic scent'. It comes in one shade only, but you can reapply two nights in a row to deepen the tan. I have really pale skin that doesn't tan at all naturally, so I have to be careful what fake tan I use as I can be left with orange coloured skin! *Packaging and Price* The packaging is quite simple and whereas most fake tanning products come in a brown ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to apply and so natural looking

Disadvantages Disadvantages To be honest, I really can't think of any!

In a couple of days time, I am flying out to Turkey for my first holiday in 10 years. Being a 'strawberry blonde', I cannot sit out in the sun for hours on end, unless I am wearing a factor 10,000, as I burn sooo easily! Yet, I don't want to be the palest one on the beach or by the pool. So, the answer? Buy St. Tropez Self-tanning Lotion. I first used this product about 4 years ago during the summer, as I wanted to wear shorts or mini-skirts, but my 'peely-wally' legs made people think of booking skiing holidays, they are so white! The first time I used it, I actually went to a beauty salon ... more
