Advantages: Economical, Easy to use, Great for beginners, Comes with batteries! Input and output sockets. Disadvantages: Won't tune cheap acoustics properly.
..., although it did take a while to do, as it was extremely out of tune, but I couldn’t tune the second string of my acoustic guitar, as the tuner recognised it as the third string instead. I think this is more down to the guitar than the tuner, as it was a very cheap guitar, and the tuner can be set manually but I didn’t have time to operate the tuner manually.
Overall I would highly recommend this product, although it doesn’t include a metronome or any special advanced tuning features, so maybe it’s more of a beginner’s tuner than an experienced guitarist’s, but it is a great product to have for a ‘middle-of-the-road’ price!...

...These little machines are so good that I decided to buy a second one. They are one of the most efficient guitars tuners around. I always reccomend them to both beginner and advanced guitarsits. They are so simple that they completely take care of the tuning process.

This is partly what attracts me to KORG tuners. The design of the CA-30, like the GA-30 bass tuner and the MA30 metronome, is very simple and sturdy. The face is slightly bigger than a credit card and it's width is less than 1cm. This small and light wieght build makes it very easy to slip into your pocket when you go out. The plastic is also very stong so it doesn't have the cheapish feel that some tuners have. The buttons and the display are spaced out well so it is very easy to understand when you've had a few beers. The only difference in design between...

Advantages: Great Quality and Sound Disadvantages: A bit expensive
...After starting the clarinet at school i asked for a buffet B12 clarinet for christmas. I kept this clarinet until the last year of my A levels but my clarinet teacher advised me that i needed a new one to progress further. Because of this i then started to try many different clarinets. I tried nearly every model and every make and narrowed it down to a Buffet RC and a Buffet R13. The reason i chose an RC prestige was because of the dark mellow german tone compared to the R13 prestige which gives a brighter french tone.
This clarinet served me well through my degree, i gained a first in major performance with this clarinet and enjoyed every minute of practicing with it. now i am a woodwind teacher i would always tell the pupils to go for Buffet as they make outstanding clarinet. Even the most basic models are well built and sound good...
