Vanish ( usually ) Victorious!
Review of Vanish Power Shot by suesie

Advantages: reasonably priced . effective in removing fresh stains. fresh smell after using
Disadvantages: less effective with older stains

...my “cleaning” cupboard ~~~The VANISH RANGE~~~ Hailing from the vast Reckitt Benckiser empire, the stable of such varied brands as Veet, Gavison, Harpic, Airwick, Calgon, Finish, Cillit Bang and Dettol, this brand has impeccable pedigree: that is if you admire such breeding as issues from multinational conglomerates! I checked out its environmental credentials, as I like to do with cleaning products, not because I am a born again environmentalist ...
...closely at ethical considerations and Vanish do produce a great range of products for laundry and upholstery as well as carpets. I already used their Vanish Oxi Action Fabric Stain Remover as necessary in the wash with varied but quite impressive results. In fact I never even bothered to check out such information when the first of a chapter of accidents befell my highly prized, new carpet. I just rushed out and grabbed the aerosol can and its chemical ... Read review

Vanish thoes stains
Review of Vanish by vickigroth

Advantages: Easy removal of common household stains
Disadvantages: none!

...However, once I started using Vanish Oxi action power I have not met a stain that has beaten me. Vanish Oxi Action is a white power which comes in an easy to see bright pink container. Its not cheep (aboud £5 for a small tub) but its often on special offer or 50% extra free. I use one scoop in every light coloured wash and for more stubborn stains I soak the offending item in a little water and pour the power on top. I leave for about an hour and ...
...Without this I think I would have spent loads of money on replacement clothes with the punishment they were getting. In my experience it works wonders on all common household stains such as tomato, orange juice, blackcurrent, blood, gravy, chocolate etc. Stock up while on offer and use in every wash - you can't go wrong. ... BUY IT! BUY IT NOW!
Review of Oxiclean by fatg1t

Advantages: Far too many to write about in this small space!
Disadvantages: Disadvantages? Don't be daft!

...it is possible to give Oxiclean anything other than 5 stars! There is NOTHING that Oxiclean doesn't work on (well I am yet to find something - and I have tried!)! (it even works on old stains and stains that have been washed and set into the laundry because they got miised when using the pre-treatment spray and have been washed and air or tumble dried into the material! So let me repeat myself just to make the point crystal clear.... There is ...
...you would see much more Oxiclean in both its various forms (the pre-treatment spray is AMAZING and works just as well as the powder!) and amounts and far less of of Vanish in all it's various forms than you currently do! Oxiclean is the Beluga caviar of Stain removers can be found and bought and at a more than reasonable price too! ... Read review

Advantages: It removed the stain.
Disadvantages: None.

...genious. It was called Glo Care Stain Devil and the rust remover was no 7 in the series. There were 9 different types of stain devil all specially formulated for different stains. I went home in excited anticipation and immediately tried the stain remover. It was simple to use. First you had dab a bit on to test a piece of material that was not too visible to make sure that it did not damage the fabric. Of course I was too excited to bother. It didn`t ...
...I can highly recommend the Glo Care Stain Devil because:- It is simple to use. It is cheap £1.99. It removed my stain instantly. It is easily obtainable. (I got mine at Tesco). "COLOUR ME PURPLE!"
Review of Glo Care Colour Catcher by jesi

Advantages: Catches most of the excess dye in the wash; keeps clothes "brighter" and "whiter"
Disadvantages: Smell when first open pack might make asthmatic person wheeze; have to remember to use

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ . . . . ☺ Introduction ☺ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm pretty good at sorting my washing ~ l keep the white shirts in one pile; the jeans and towels in another; black socks in yet another ~ making sure l wash all the underwear after bath time (usually with the white shirts) ~ because there is nothing worse than streaky clothes ~ unless, of course you tie-dye deliberately! What I'm NOT quite as good at is at making sure l ...
...fresh dirty items into the machine to wash. I'm not talking about the previous load. No. I ALWAYS turn the drum and check for items still clinging to the drum when the load finishes. It's this. I'm talking about the odd socks, pale blue or white work shirts (My husband is a teacher) which my husband puts in the machine without me noticing ~ sometimes with funny items in the pockets. Once or twice he has even tossed his red "Steward" sweatshirt ... Read review
