No film P&S camera will ever have a longer zoom?
Advantages: tight compositions at long distances Disadvantages: easy blur at 200mm;dim viewfinder;fat & ugly
...Point & Shoot cameras.Got this Pentax 200 for a lowly $31(someone gave it up to go digital?). This camera proves to me that people are jumping the digital gun. The image quality of this Pentax gives punchy, sharp 8X10 inch prints & beats 5mp digitals. For people who love image quality I can stop there. But some people need more convincing. Many digitals have only 3 power zooms going to equivalent 110mm & no other film P&S goes past 170mm. The 200mm ... ...much sharpness & pleasure.
The Pentax 200 viewfinder is darker than most other P&S digital or film cameras. Picture taking at dawn, dusk or quickly can be difficult. Also, I feel the auto focus mechanism isn't as sure as other cameras. It has Landscape & Spot Exposure-Focus modes which help the auto focus unsurity tho. Like most P&S cameras, it has auto film feed, advance, rewind, exposure, flash & red-eye settings. Unlike most P&S's the Pentax ...

Epsio 115M - small but perfectly formed
Advantages: Lightweight, good range of features, easy to use, decent zoom, literally pocket sized, good quality photos Disadvantages: A bit fiddly for big fingers, no film in pack, not weatherproof
I recently purchased the Pentax 115M from unbeatable.co.uk - I was looking for a decent compact 35mm zoom camera and, not knowing that much about cameras, I looked for a site that carried recommendations. Unbeatable carried this info in the form of Which Camera Best Buy icons, so I knew it wouldn't be a complete dud buy...
The price was very good too, being about £60 cheaper than high street prices at £148.
The camera is small and lightweight, ... ...have to be careful not to cover the flash with your finger as you use it. However, the picture quality is excellent, the best I have seen from a compact (I'm basing this on my limited use so far, all indoor flash photography - once I've taken some outdoor photos, I'll update this review.)
Features are fairly standard include the obligatory redeye reduction, easy to use autofocus, several different manual focus modes and a panoramic mode, unusual ...

Smile, Say cheese
Advantages: takes good photos Disadvantages: not quite as small as some cameras
When my old camera got dropped on the floor one drunken evening over Xmas, I decided I had to go and buy another one immediately. However, three days after Xmas I did not want to spend too much money. I thought I would have a problem purchasing a good camera without having to spend a fortune. I was wrong. There were lots and lots of different cameras all varying in price. I got quite confused, as I am not an expert photogropher at all the things ... ...cook the dinner)! I finally found one that looked good, had lots of the features of the more expensive models, was compact, had zoom lens and only cost £79.99 which was within my budget. I am pleased to say it works very well and the photographs I have had developed from using the camera have been good, in fact much better than the one I had dropped! If you are looking for a new compact camera, but like me, you are no expert in photography try this ...

Perfect Pentax
Advantages: Lots of features Disadvantages: Takes a while to get used to the different features
This camera is my favourite! I decided to purchase a 35mm because digital cameras were annoying. They take 5 minutes to switch on and then my printer is never reliable enough to print anything good. Anyway, the espio is super. This is a top-quality camera with loads of features:

Automatic Loading (APS): Yes
Bifocal / Zoom: Zoom
Bifocal/Zoom: Zoom
Built In Flash: Yes
Camera Format: 135 mm
Compact / SLR: Compact

I'm sure I'll use them in the long-term. You can also get a date model which I think writes the date on the film. It's got a huge zoom which ...

Pictures of my life.
Advantages: Simple to use, compact and great pictures! Disadvantages: No zoom feature!
...It was a silver coloured Pentax PC-55 35mm camera. It has been very handy, since I have lived away from family and many friends for 4 years now. It's very easy to use, since it has auto advance and easy loading, though the first time I must say I had no idea what I was doing. The film loaded fine regardless. The photos are clear with any speed of film and the colour is brilliant! I've taken photos in a bright and lit up Times Square, from cliffs ... ...well as in caves in a dark and gloomy forest in New Zealand. I've rarely had any issues with red eye, nor blurry photos, even in severe fog and rain.
If I ask a stranger to take a photo for me, they never have to figure out how to use it, with hours of explanation just for one shot of me standing next to some pretty scenery. It's an efficient little camera, that is with me almost all of the time.
Having a camera is a neccessity for me, so I can ...
