't do it again for the final exam. The grading system overall is a bit confusing but very good and fair, allowing candidates the chance to get as best grades as they can.
Learning
Well, StandardGrades are the first taste of real work. My favouite subject I discovered was History and really enjoyed learning about the Russian Revolution and World War 1. I did take all three sciences, just to see if it was the route for me but then found I didn't really enjoy Biology or Physics very much. I did really like Chemistry however. You get tested in each subject around every month, this doesn't just have to be a class test, sometimes a homework or even a project.

As I am student in Scotland at high school, you study different things and gain different qualifications to the UK. In Scotland you can get StandardGrades, Highers and Advanced Highers.
I'm not very a customed to other education systems in the UK, but I do know that a SG is equivelent to a GCSE and a Higher to a AS-Level. Last year I studied my StandardGrades, and found that Ciao or any other site had a review about any of the materials outside of the classroom, used to revise for exams and tests.
StandardGrade Chemistry is just one of the many courses you or your child could take at third or fourth year if you are in Scotland.
