Every time I phone up this bank, I am greeted by a warm, friendly voice, usually with a Scottish accent, and this just inspires me to give them money.
The bank was recommended to me by a relative who is an Independent Financial Advisor, and I am so glad that he did. This band is always sending me information on changes to the interest rates, new services and things like that, but in a way that isn't imposing. They normally give you ... ...bits are and so you can judge for yourself. It's like giving you those bits of paper in the chocolates that tell you which ones you'll like and which ones you won't.
The people you talk to on the phone are great and you can make you transactions with no difficulty at all. The website is also the most reliable bank website I have seen, given that my brother has had trouble with Egg and Natwest, and my mum can't get LloydsTSB's website ... more

Having old relatives with large savings are a particular bonus.
The only bad thing is having to plan in advance because of the three working day timespan to move your money, but I suppose this is pretty much what you would expect from any bank and cannot be helped.
I have had no problems at all with this bank and thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
