Advantages: Direct Drive, Smooth running, Blue lights Disadvantages: very heavy
I will never get rid of these decks for as long as I live. The Stanton Str8-80s have served me well for nearly three years now.
It has a Reverse function (so you can play records backwards!!) Also has some funky blue LEDs and adjustable white lights so you can play in the dark.
The decks themselves run very smoothly, I can't believe I used to play with belt drive numarks?! However did I manage? Get these Decks if you can, they're amazing! Despite everyone always raving about Technics being the best decks I prefer the stantons. I brought a brand new model and a second hand model which was a few years old, the second hand one is still going strong and very durable.
I've edited this and took out the specs as been told I don't really need to put these. ...

Advantages: Inexpensive, stylish looks, easily upgradeable Disadvantages: Rubbish speakers, could have more RAM
yourself from eBay, only costs around £40. I also upgraded the video card for around £100, but then you've got a good processor, high enough RAM to run Windows Vista and good games and also a good graphics card to be able to play games at higher resolutions, but still the computer and the upgrades is a lot less expensive than buying a better PC.
Acer is a good brand and have been getting better over the years and they do built inexpensive, but good quality machines. My Aspire T120e did me very good for a number of years and is still going strong with someone else.
The only bad point is the rubbish speakers (although nicely powered by USB so no need for an extra power socket) mine never worked out of the box, but I wouldn't use them anyway cos they don't have much power. I bought the Packard Bell 2.1 speaker system (check my other reviews ...
The Stanton T.120 (straight arm) and T.120C (curve arm) represent the new standard in turntable design. The industry's strongest direct drive motor pushes out 4.5 Kgf-cm of torque, while handy Reverse and Start/Brake adjust controls give DJs total control over the mix. Are you a professional DJ? Then this is your instrument.
