I like strategy games and starCraft is one of my best games. One of my friends had the game and i really enjoyed it is one of those games were you can play on it for hours. The reson why i like it a lot is because you can play mulitplayer and you can make your own map. I brought this game about 2 years ago and i still can not stop playing on it. This game is rated 15 and should not be played by people below 15. over all i think this is a great game. ...

Advantages: Superb gameplay, good balance of units, full of character, lots of longevity Disadvantages: In-game are dated in style, if still attractive
and straightforward whilst allowing for myriad sophisticated strategies to be employed. Crystals and Gas must be harvested to build structures and units, and anyone who has played an RTS game before will be immediately at home, although correct use of tactics takes considerably longer to master. The game has an excellent story-driven single player mode consisting of a separate campaign for each race, the different battles taking place across a range of exotic alien planets as well as on orbital platforms in space, with well-fleshed-out story characters and some great voice acting and dialogue all helping to draw the player in.
The presentation is consistently excellent, with attractive menu systems, dozens of stunning loading screens, and great cut scenes complementing the main in-game graphics nicely. The computer AI is solid, but the game is at its ...

Although there are many games which are still popular now, years or even decades after their original release, none have remained at the very pinnacle of the genre as long as StarCraft. One of the best selling PC games ever, the original real-time strategy game came out in 1998 but it's taken until now for a sequel to be deemed necessary. This gives developer Blizzard (makers of World Of WarCraft) the unenviable task of creating a game that is both new and accessible - and yet will not upset the millions of fans of the original. The basic set-up is still the same with three playable races: the Terrans (humans), the Giger-esque Zerg and the psychic, elf-like Protoss. There will be approximately the same number of units for each race as in the original (about a dozen each) but many are all new and those that do return have been significantly altered, from simple things like giving the Protoss Zelaot a new dash attack to replacing the Terran Goliath mech with the Viking which can now transform into a jet.One of the most obvious changes in the game is the difference that a decade of graphical advancements has brought about, with ultra high resolution maps filled with hundreds of units. Online fans will love it but the single player experience has also been greatly enhanced with new CGI and real-time cut scenes and a complex storyline. With an extremely powerful in-built game editor as well this sequel should last at least another ten years.Harrison DentStarCraft II continues the epic saga of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. These three distinct and powerful races will clash once again in the fast-paced real-time strategy sequel to the legendary original, StarCraft. Legions of veteran, upgraded, and brand-new unit types will do battle across the galaxy, as each faction struggles for survival. Featuring a unique single-player campaign that picks up where StarCraft: Brood War left off, StarCraft II will present a cast of new heroes and familiar faces in an edgy sci-fi story filled with adventure and intrigue. In addition, Blizzard will again offer unparalleled online play through Battle.net, the company's world-renowned gaming service, with several enhancements and new features to make StarCraft II the ultimate competitive real-time strategy game.
