Well isn't this a nifty little device?
Doesn't it get annoying when you don't have enough space to plug in more PS/2 devices to your PC? PS/2 is becoming obsolete now and sometimes you will get computers without ports for them, including one of my laptops. Another problem with PS/2 ports are that they are always hard to get to; not only will you never find one on a frontal port section (on the front of a PC case) but at the back they are always buried under wires! Also, people with less knowledge about computers would be unlikely to know what a PS/2 port looks like, but will probably know what a USB port looks like!
Anyway, I was getting annoyed at my latest laptop for not having any PS/2 ports, since I was planning to use it for gaming and my favourite keyboard and mouse for gaming are both USB. So I went back to the shop I bought ...

Controller - Comfortable, not as good as an XBOX360 controller but then, what is?
Games - Just about every genre of game is on the PS2, there are masses of games to be played and they are all fairly cheap nowadays. Also plays some of the greatest games of all time like Final Fantasy, Grand theft auto and Need for Speed.
Extras - It uses memory cards so you can use your save game on other people playstation
- Until recently I found out that the removable plastic section at the back is for a harddrive (this is not in the slimline version)
- It can be connected to the internet (for multiplater etc)
- It can use a range of accesories, eyetoy (camera), steering wheels, guns, microphones, skateboards and even chainsaws.
Even though it is 'out of date' it still have hours of play value. ...

The Playstation 2 Slimline (SL) is a newer design of the Playstation. Although the Slimline is smaller it still has the same capabilities as the old PS2.
The PS2 SLplays every single PS2 game that you could think of and still has the ability to play PS1 games aswell.
It is much smaller than the old PS2 which means it is easier to place in any room in the house without taking up a ridiculous amount of room. As well as being smaller it is more power efficient and gives off less heat which means it can be placed in a confined space without fear of it overheating.
Just like the original PS2 the SL can be placed either horizontally or vertically and comes with a vertical stand. The stand is detachable so that if you simply want to sit it in between a wall and a cupboard then you can do so.
