Advantages: Simple elegant design with a cool metalic bronze look Disadvantages: Front door flap may get damaged
...start to install things into it. All the 5.25" drivebays have a screwless mounting system that makes installing your cd-roms a breeze. Simply fit the plastic adapter (one is supplied for each bay), slot into place and lock, simple really.
The 3.5" drive holder actually unlocks from the case so you can take it out and install your hard-drives/floppies easily (sadly no screwless mounting on these, but atleast you dont have to contort yourself to slot them into position.
The only downside to the case is the front flap door. My main problem with it, is that it seems a little flimsy. It's all plastic with no strenthening behind it and it seems that a little abuse (leaving it open and knocking it the wrong way for example) may damage it beyond repair. Seeing as the power and reset switches are behind this cover, you have to open it every time...

Advantages: Loads of space, good cooling A+ quality Disadvantages: Very heavy, paint scratches easily
...At £50 there are very few cases better than the antec plusview. Recently reviewed and given a star rating in CustomPC, the plusview is well featured, looks great and has been designed with cooling in mind.
It has a total of 4 fan mounts (standard size) all with clips so you won't need screws. Two at the back, one beneath its device bays, and one in a device bay for cooling up to 3 hard drives, a very good idea.
The drivebays them selves are quite unique. There are two detatchable 3.5inch device boxes each with the capacity of 3 devices such as hard drives etc. Very easy to use and great for quick removal.
There is also a superb cd/5.25inch device loading method. The case has rail clips, and rails that you can screw into the side of your CD/dvd drive. All you need to do to remove a device is to pinch the clips either side...

Advantages: Fast & Versatile Disadvantages: Slightly large
...Everyone seems to have a tiny pocket USB drive these days, however they suffer from limited capacity and can be quite slow (especially the older USB1 type). Belkin realise there's a good market to be tapped here... via their USB2 hard drive caddy.
I can't remember the last time I was this impressed with a piece of kit. Thanks to a £20 voucher from Powergen, I picked this drivebay up for £29.99 from PC world. In went an old fujitsu 10MB drive and now it's a fantastic portable (just) storage solution.
The bay itself can accomodate both 3.5 and 5.25inchdrives to give you an idea of how big it is. Power is supplied via a normal 6A mains lead (supplied) which is identical to your computer power lead (so no problem replacing if you lose it). The drive connector inside is a standard 40-pin IDE ribbon and there's also an analog audio...
