There is a reason this cable is more expensive than other brands, and is out of stock often; it is quite simply a superior product. This official Microsoft cable won't cause loss of true colours and will produce a brilliant picture on an LCD/CRT PC monitor or an HDTV. Third Party versions of this cable are prone to interference from lights, PC's, the Xbox itself etc., colour loss and loss of quality. They are completely unshielded from these kinds of interference, and are comparable to the array of iPod docking stations with 'tinny' speakers and a poorly constructed plastic feel. Microsoft have produced a high quality product here, and this justifies the extra few pounds.

There is a temperature sensor on this unit and the temp is displayed in the centre of the unit, and also it displays the name of the lullaby.
There is also a link light which lights up when the baby unit is linked to the parent unit, which is reassuring.
The night light gives off an orange glow which is quite nice, but we've never used night lights for our daughter and we aren't about to start now.
The lullabies are pretty rubbish, I'm not sure how many there are in total, but Twinkle Little Star, The Muffin Man and Jack and Jill are all on there. You can also adjust the volume of these if you wish.
