I had to transfer some old VHS into DVD for convenience so I did browse the internet looking for something really good yet easy to use and most important not expensive. I found a lot of very good reviews about this product, so I decided to give it a go and bought one, well I have to say that it works beautifully, the manual is very clear, the installation was a breeze, the software bundled is very useful and whilst I'm writing the device is currently helping me to transfer my 10th tape and counting... The video output is surprisingly good in particular using the composite input, I checked with "graphedit" the directshow codecs used and they are the one provided by the bundled software, however because the device is a WDM compliant device you can use any capture software that will convert to MPEG2 with better codecs, again this is just ...

A to Z of resolutions

Advantages: It's not 2007 anymore!
Disadvantages: I didn't do very well.....

this year. We're hoping to go on a barge trip with his friends - if it happens it could be very interesting. We also have a family holiday with my parents which might be a little bit stressful (see S). Whatever happens and wherever we go I will have fun! Verdict - the barge was good, but the holiday with the family wasn't exactly stree-free - 0 points I = Internet - I have been spending far too much time on the Internet, and this year I will try and moderate it. Ok, so writing my new year's resolutions online is probably not a great start....but I will get into more of a routine and restrict my internet use! Verdict - neither better or worse - 0 points J = Job - I am getting absolutely sick of my job. It doesn't stretch me in the slightest and the pay is rubbish. Belkin Scart Converter

Advantages: It's just great
Disadvantages: more leads than if you had a scart

These are similar to the connector i got with my playstation 2, but these are of a higher quality plus it can take svhs and can be switched to input or output. Whenever i've used Belkin products i've never had a problem. This connector is great because if you've got a video camera or another product that has three phono out puts or svhs output it allows you to plug them straight into a tv or vcr that only has a scart input. This particular connector is the only one to my knowledge that has the svhs input. I've seen and used others which have only the three phono inputs. However these tend to be just silver quality whereas this is gold (gives you a better connection which also results in a better picture quality - but any connector is only as good as the equipment your plugging into), also the others tend to be just locked to ...
