The video output is surprisingly good in particular using the composite input, I checked with "graphedit" the directshow codecs used and they are the one provided by the bundled software, however because the device is a WDM compliant device you can use any capture software that will convertto MPEG2 with better codecs, again this is just ...

These are similar to the connector i got with my playstation 2, but these are of a higher quality plus it can take svhs and can be switched to input or output.
Whenever i've used Belkin products i've never had a problem. This connector is great because if you've got a video camera or another product that has three phono out puts or svhs output it allows you to plug them straight into a tv or vcr that only has a scart input.
This particular connector is the only one to my knowledge that has the svhs input. I've seen and used others which have only the three phono inputs. However these tend to be just silver quality whereas this is gold (gives you a better connection which also results in a better picture quality - but any connector is only as good as the equipment your plugging into), also the others tend to be just locked to ...
