THE ALBUM
The recent smash "Give It To Me" featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake is one of the standout tracks on "ShockValue" and I reckon this is a good representation of the album as a whole, therefore if you like that track, you'll probably like the album in general. I think the style of that song alone is hard to define - sort of a mix of hip-hop, disjointed beats, r & b and dance. This indefinable style is probably the type of music that Timbaland excels in, and is the reason why he is so popular as a producer.

1. Oh Timbaland
This contains a piano intro which is taken from a Nina Simone track. This track then features a thumpind drum beat and some funky guitar licks. This is a great intro to the album and gives a taster of what is to come from the rest of the album.
2. Give it to me
This starts with "is it going, is it going, i don't know" This has a thumping beat that knocks through the track, this track features vocals from Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado and Timbaland raps on the track. This track has a great flow and is great for dancing to in the club.

I loved a couple of Timbalands songs, including The Way I Are & Apologise never thought about buying the album untill we were on a long car journey and wanted a new album so went looking for Timbaland as i knew i liked a couple of songs already. Took a while to find it but when i did i couldn't be more pleased with it.
I love nearly all the songs that are on this album and it has hardly left the car CD player since i bought it. I would definately buy any future albums by Timbaland as this one is one of the best albums out at the moment.
The cover is original with brillaint design and clear track list on the back.
Brilliant value for money as far as CDs at supermarket prices go, i would definately recommend this to other people if they are into this kind of music. ...
