The LC7211 is the perfect workhorse for the most demanding printer environments - office, workshop, delivery terminal or industrial facility. The superb 7 part form handling capabilities of the LC7211 cover a wide spectrum of printing requirements - invoices, delivery tags, fanfold paper, cut sheet, labels and much more. The LC7211 also boasts an impressive 270 cps Draft Mode speed and includes other features such as Electronic Dip Switch and Rear Push Tractor. Other standard features include White Skip, 5 resident fonts and 10 TrueType fonts. The Rear Push Tractor and standard Friction Feed work together to provide bi-directional, horizontal insertion, greatly facilitating the feeding of continuous forms and fanfold. There is even a Paper Parking function that leaves rear-fed forms undisturbed during single sheet printing.
Advantages: Cheap, Reasonably Powerful, Looks Good Disadvantages: Short Battery Life, Poor Graphics, Widescreen Case but NOT a wide screen
...choosing a laptop. Unfortunately, unlike its' older brothers, the Acer Aspire 3003lc only features wired networking (you have to plug it in to get on the internet) and not wireless networking. It does however have a slot on the side for a PCMCIA type card so you can buy a wireless card and fit it yourself which is what i've done. This slot can also be used for card readers, tv tuners and other peripherals.
The laptop has a DVD reader/CD-Writer which is adequate for most people's uses even though a DVD writer would have been useful.
The keyboard and touchpad are good surfaces to type on and use for long periods of time, and don't become uncomfortable like some laptops. The touchpad is quite wide which is useful as there is more space to drag your finger, and if you drag along the side, you can use your finger like the scrollbar on a website...

Advantages: Cheap As Chips and Powerful Enough Desktop Replacement Disadvantages: No DVDRW if that affects you
...Hello There! Thinking of buying this Laptop? Then read on and let me tell you a quick bit about it!
Having previously owned a doomed Tiny A360 laptop (big mistake) I sold it for spares, and funded my purchase of a new Laptop. I opted for this unit, purchased from ebuyer at the bargain price of £470 (inc VAT)
Quick Rundown of the laptop
The Acer Aspire 1362LC is the budget end of the Aspire range. Powered by a Mobile AMD Sempron 2800+ chip, the CPU provides a well struck balance between power and battery life. The unit comes as standard with 256MB RAM of the DDR variety. Upgradibility of the RAM is effortless as one screw removed from the access panel allows you access to the spare slot available.
The laptop is equipped with a XGA 15"TFT which is bright and clear, with no dark spots anywhere. Also it has several contrast...

Advantages: Great performer, quality build, excellent value Disadvantages: a bit old now, lack of WiFi
...Hello everyone,
I have have had one of these 1603LC Aspire Laptop since new. Purchased from Dabs.com and I have been extreemly happy with it. Performance wise it has never let me down for the past 3-4 years of service. I still believe it handles very well as I have a new HP Desktop and performance of the laptop has not given up, not far behind and even better than some Vista ones I know.
The quality of build is high. None of the parts have shown any defects or stopped working of whatever reason. Well just the battery packed up after me carelessly leaving it fully discharged for a couple of weeks (may have been longer), and of course a significant drop of performance since.
So as an advise, never leave your laptop battery discharged! They are best preserved when fully charged as I find out latter... to late.
Even...
