Advantages: Kind to nails, quick and easy to use, not to harsh a smell comes off! Disadvantages: None that I have found
When it comes to taking my nail varnish off I have a few ?must haves?. The nail varnish remove must be quick, when I say quickly what I mean is I need the nail varnish to be removed with easy, rather than having to scrub away at my nails. I also like the nail varnish remover to be kind to my nails. I appreciate that nail varnish remover will have to contain certain chemicals to be able to remove the nail varnish but not so that is damages my nails in the process.
With all of these factors in mind I am very careful over what nail varnish removers I buy. I have seen shops own brands before and because the price is low I must admit to be being tempted but I always end up being loyal to the Cutex brand
I think Cutex is one of the most well known brands on nail varnish remover, I remember my mum using it to remove her nail varnish so I ...
'd give this a go.
As mine was part of an offer, it was almost a freebie, but usually it retails at around £3.90 which I think is quite expensive. However it's widely available and you can get it from Boots and Superdrug as well as some supermarkets and chemists.

The consistency of the tip whitener is quite thick but it's smooth and not at all gloopy. This is good as you don't have to do lots of coats, sometimes only one will do the trick. You apply it as you would normal nail polish ...
Advantages: works well, doesnt smell too bad, good value for money Disadvantages: can take a while to remove glittery nail polish!
soft, weak nails and it also contained a nail whitening formula (for the tips of your nails). I figured that this could only be a good thing and seeing as my nails are really weak anyway it may even be beneficial to me!
The 200ml bottle cost me (well technically my dad but that's minor details!) just under £2. The bottle itself is an opaque white colour so you can see the white liquid inside (useful for knowing how much you have left!). The bottle has a lilac screw top (which is easy to unscrew for my feable muscles!!) and the label is also lilac. There seemed to be minimum details on the bottle, just the name, ingredients and a caution telling you that its flammable, to keep it away from children, synthetic materials and polished or painted surfaces.
I was intrigued as to what the nail polish remover would smell like as the ones I had ...
