Introduction
*************
Star Trek Legacy has been released on the 40th anniversary of Star Trek. It spans all three eras of Star Trek series from Next Generation, Original Star Trek and Enterprise. This works by going through campaigns going through the entire timeline enabling the player to use all three Enterprises while playing the captain as well as other types of ships in real time including Sisko and Janeway which for a Star Trek fan is amazing.

Game Play
************
To make it even better for those Star Trek fans out there the designers of the game have even gone to the trouble of recording the actors of all Star ek cans of Archer, Kirk, Picard, Sisko and Janeway which does make the game a little more impressive.

This game allows you fight against a number of races such as the Klingons, Romulans and in the Next Generation era the Borg. Even though fighting other ships can be fun this seems to be all that is done in the game except for a few other features as scanning objects and every so often sending an away team. Due to the number of races encountered and the timeline spaned Star Trek Legacy allows for a wide rage of missions from exploring space to escorting other ships making for a good story line.

One feature that I love about the game is that when your flying your ship around space you can get your ship to do loop the loop and basicly turn like you would think a space ship would. This is much better than previous games that have been released where the ship can't go up or down and has to stay on 2D square box.

Controls
**********
The controls of the game can get very annoying because it could take a beginner up an hour how to use the controls. To make it even worse there is no tutorial level to help beginners who haven't played the game before.

AI
***
The AI in the game does put up a good fight especially when it comes to numbers because most of time you are out numbered which can make it difficult at times. However the only problem with the AI is that when you have a fleet because you can have a fleet of four the ships under your command aren't very intelligent.

When firing at enemy targets I found that I would miss even when I thought that it should of hit which left me thinking "Isn't this mean't to be highly advanced weapons, they don't miss on television." so that could be a problem. As well as that Ifound that at time an enemies torpedo would miss me and do a 180 degree turn on its self and hit me. Now come on that can't be right making it unrealistic at times.

Bugs
******
I did find a number of bugs in the game which caused the game to crash which means in my opinion that more time should have been spent designing the game instaed of rushing it for release.

Graphics
**********
The graphics are excellent. The graphics exceed any other star trek game ever designed and released. To prove what I mean Star Trek Legacy has been released on the Xbox 360 and considering the high graphics quality that proves just how good the graphics are on the game. The graphics of weapons such as photon torpedos look amazing making look at times even better than some of the series on TV.

Multiplayer
************
The game does allow for multiplayer but when Itried to log onto the multiplayer there was no one there to battle or play against. I guess Star Tek Legacy on the internet wasn't that popular.

Recommendations
*********************
I would recommend this game for star trek fans without a doubt as well as people interested in space battles and space simulation however the game was rushed when it was being designed ready or release whcih means it could have been an even better game if more time had been spent on it.
